I was hesitant about ordering from Amazon as opposed to directly from Whirlpool. I made the right decision - way to go, Amazon. Perfect! Read the other reviews and heed the word of the dude who said to watch for the water flow while purging the water system after installation!
Works in Kenmore October 28, 2008
I bought these for use in a Kenmore refrigerator. They are exactly the same as the one that came with the refrigerator, for half the price that Sears was charging. I'm satisfied.

I purchased these hoping they would fit my Kenmore side by side fridge. They fit perfectly. Its the exact same filter without the word Kenmore in the lable. Im glad to see these on Amazon because this is a WAY better deal than you could ever get at Sears.

item looks old and used and has finger prints all over, the old one i was throwing away looked shinier and newer then this one, that why online shoping is risky, cant trust and cant see the product u r buying until u get it... a used filter is worse then not having a filter i think...

This was the first time I ordered a replacement filter for my Kitchen Aide and it was a snap to put in and has been working great ever since!
