I've used these filters for over four years in my refrigerator. I'm the type of person who isn't going to replace a filter unless the water tastes bad, or the dispensing rate slows to a trickle. It actually took about 3 1/2 years of usage to slow to a trickle, and I replaced. The second name-brand filter started to slow down only after 10 months. Sure they both lasted longer than the manufacturer recommendation, but I would have like to see a longer lasting replacement filter for the cheap-o's like myself!
 Improved Water September 15, 2008
The filter was easy to change and it is doing its job very well. The awful taste to the water is gone. I now have flavorless water - the way it should be. I will defiantly purchase another filter when it time again.

This item was exactly what I needed and at a good price. This item is sometimes difficult to find in stores and the price is usually a litle bit higher. The item was shipped quickly and I did not have any problems installing it.

Fast delivery of an important feature of the family refrigerator. This is a water filter that screens particles and odors out of chilled water dispenser. It is sturdy, easy to install and very reliable. Buy it, you'll be satisfied.
