Great meter. May 31, 2010 E This thing checks the total dissolved solids and inverse of resistivity great. The display is kinda weird with the *10^3 thing but I guess that comes with the territory of dealing with the order of magnitude I want in my system.
Does just what I wanted May 16, 2010 Joe E. Brooks (Medford, OR USA) I use this TDS meter for measuring nutrients in hydroponics solutions. I wanted to measure both temperature and TDS with a durable instrument. So far this meter does exactly what I want it to do.
Amazon did me wrong February 27, 2010 Peter (Pasadena, Moldova, Republic of) 2 out of 8 found this review helpful
This product came up on a search for a pH meter on amazon. It certainly does not measure pH. It is a great product for what it's advertised to do, but amazon presented it as a solution for a pH meter, which it is not. I assumed that a conductivity meter would have some sort of pH functionality, and the fact that it popped up on a search for pH meter convinced me.
I realize that I am at fault and I have found uses for it... but I am complaining that amazon's search algorithm lied to me.
very easy to use and just what i needed February 10, 2010 Dangerous Dirk (South Bend, IN) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I got this in the mail and was using it in 5 minutes. I was going to read the instructions, but didn't really need to, it's very straightforward and easy to use. It's waterproof, which is very nice, and has a nice feature that allows you to take a reading, hit the "hold" button, and the remove it from the solution so you can read the meter even though it's not still in the solution. It was much cheaper than other options, and I must say that I'm very pleased with it.
Recieved my meter January 21, 2010 shane (houston texas) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
For me, the calibration with a screw driver really put me off. This meter does away with that. You use push bottoms to calibrate the meter and after that its dip and check.
The hold feature is nice, dip the meter in the solution, press hold then remove it for a closer look. Very nice for those of us with glasses.
From what i have seen of this meter, I have to give it 5 stars simply because its well made and works like its supposed to.
