I'm with the other reviewers who stress that this is NOT intended to replace your vacuum. However, for quick clean-ups in between weekly vacuuming, it's fabulous. I was astonished to see how much it actually picks up. (Honestly, it picked up so much that I'm convinced I probably need a new vacuum.) The swivel feature is great; it gets into narrow spaces easily. I found it to be especially great for "vacumming" under my baseboard heaters. Again, not equal to vacuuming, but "good enough" and far easier than dragging out the vacuum attachments.

I have to agree with all the others that reported bad reviews. Fortunately I did not purchase one of these, the 2 I have had were gifts. I was very excited with my first swivel sweeper, it worked great for quick pick ups behind the kids, cat, and dog; for about 1 month for both sweepers. And yes, I took care of the sweepers: I kept them clean and did not over charge the batteries. I did not expect it to work as a vaccum. I did not put pressure on the unit or handle. The ability to pick up dirt, etc., quickly declined after the first month or so. It continued to blow dirt away from the unit. And yes, it will scratch prefinished hardwood floors and some stone and some tile flooring. The battery life is terrible. Yes the battery may stayed charged for up to 45 minutes of use, but it will not pick anything up off the floor. It needs to be FULLY charged to work properly which is for a very short period of time. But even within a couple of months the battery life quickly deteriorates. Both of my swivel sweepers have done the same thing. There has been no improvement. Out of friends and family that I know who have tried this product, they have all had the same problems and complaints. It is best to stick with the broom and dust pan or vacuum.

The rollers are great, everything they said. But the suction power is minimal and does not work on my tile floor. I wanted something to replace my broom, wrong. And don't get hooked into buy 2, I'll sell you mine second one which was double the wasted money.

I bought the Swivel Sweeper for one major purpose. I feed the birds on a small terrace outside my home office door and always (I mean, always!) drop seed and bits of bread on the carpet inside the door. The Swivel Sweeper swoops around (just like the birds swoop around the feeders) and easily picks up every crumb. It absolutely does everything the TV informercial promised. Who could ask for anything more!
