Amazon.com Review With a push button to gently break the vacuum inside the bowl, this tool forms perfect, 2-inch-diameter scoops of ice cream and releases them in a jiffy--just like those dished up by the pros at Baskin-Robbins. The push button is spring loaded so it releases ice cream and then snaps back into place for the next scoop. The index finger operates the push button, which is easy to use even for children. Made of steel, the scoop is 8 inches long and carries a five-year warranty against defects. --Fred Brack

You've tried the rest, now try the best! July 25, 2007 This is truly the best ice scream scoop there is- It's heavy duty solid steel construction is virtually indestructable. The button on the back allows the user to quickly and easily dispense the icecream after scooping it up. My wife tried to throw ours away the other day because she said it was ugly. Don't give in to the pretty scoops. This one, while it may appear to some to be ugly is the best scoop that you can buy at any price! An avid icecream addict I've owned mine for 10+ years with no problems.
The "scoop" on the scoop! July 2, 2006 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
Works fine. Releases just as it says it will. Not quite as sturdy as I thought it would be, but time will tell if it will hold up.
Nice Performance but Inferior Quality February 19, 2006 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This ice cream scooper fits nicely in the hand and cuts through hard ice cream with ease. The scoop ejection mechanism is a handy feature as well. However, the quality is a little suspect and I would be suprised to find that this is the same scoop they use in the actual stores. The metal is thin and discoloration occured after one trip through the dishwasher. This is a better scoop than most others, but do not expect the highest quality.
BEST SCOOP You will ever need! November 17, 2005 This is an awesome, durable, & reasonable priced product. Our family loves ice-cream & this product has outlasted them all!
Here's the "scoop" September 12, 2005 0 out of 11 found this review helpful
From the description of this ice cream scoop, I thought it would be great, but I was disappointed. I would never buy another one.
