The two toaster slots are wide enough to accommodate thick bagel halves or rustic bread slices; when they're done, they pop up close to the surface for easy removal. We are very satisfied with our four slice toaster. It came just before Christmas and we have been putting it to good use. We would highly recommend this product.
 Burns Everything January 3, 2009
Don't get it. Don't get the other reviews. No matter how or, what you put in the toaster, it burns one side. Toast: Burns one side. Bagel: burns one side. Bun: Burns one side, And I mean BLACK. Tried all the different settings. Read the instructions, etc. Still burns one side. Black. My old toaster works fine, but its 25 years old. Not worth the price. Not worth, buying. at any price.

The recent purchase of a cuisinart toaster was one of the best buys I have made over the internet. The toaster was exactly as pictured, just a gorgeous red that accents my kitchen beautifully. The workmanship of this appliance is very apparent in the efficient way it processes all our toasting needs. This is my first cuisinart appliance, but definitely not my last. The price was very affordable. Compared to other lesser models I feel I got the best buy possible and with the added "no shipping" it proved to be a great find. Thanks Amazon and Cuisinart. I love this toaster. Makes great toast and I love the color red. Looks nice in my kitchen and have had many comment on it. It is great and would buy again.
