Amazon.com Review Sturdily made of commercial-quality stainless steel, this Pyrex Accessories Professional series oven thermometer measures oven temperatures up to 600 degrees F. With a wide bottom, it sits anywhere in the oven, or you can use the handy loop on top to hang it from your oven rack. The dial has large, easy-to-read numbers in 50-degree increments from 100 to 600 degrees. This thermometer works in both conventional or convection ovens, has a lifetime warranty, and must be hand washed. --Doree Armstrong

don't waste your money October 14, 2007 I used this in the oven for 5 days and it never registered the correct temp. I had the repair man out twice because of the temp it stated. He told me to throw it away and trust the oven. I did and all is fine now. I would have given it a minus, but the rating wouldn't allow it.
DONT BUY THIS JUNK May 29, 2007 Stuck on 400 degrees after about ten uses or 5 months.
I have to agree try another model January 11, 2006 11 out of 11 found this review helpful
I have an older oven and the temperature fluctuates in it. I currently have 2 different themometers in the oven just to verify that Im cooking at close to the right temp.
I used this thermometer for about 3 months, then I opened the stove one day to find that the needle was stuck on 325 degrees. I tried to get it to unstick by shaking it and putting into the refrig to no avail
It passed before its time January 10, 2006 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
I received this item in the fall of last year, and upon returning to my apartment this January, I discovered it was non-functional after less than 3 months of use. However, the cheap oven thermometer that I bought at Kroger 5 months ago is still going strong.
Very inaccurate December 5, 2005 12 out of 12 found this review helpful
This is the worst oven thermometer I've ever used. The clip is flimsy, so the thermometer falls off if you move the shelf, and the base is flimsy, so it's difficult to stand up. It is also wildly inaccurate. Sometimes, it's off by as much as 75 - 100 degrees.
A waste of money.
