 Well-Designed Ladle-- great buy! December 23, 2008
I'm a fan of OXO products and this ladle didn't disappoint. I've used it for everything from punch to chili without issue. Cleans up well and the grip is great. Can't get too excited about a ladle, but this one fits the bill and looks stylish to boot!

I ended up sending this item back. It was much to big for my use. In fact it was big enough that it would not fit in any of my kitchen drawers.
Great for scooping out dry cat food from a very large bag. Has an easy grasp as well! October 10, 2007
I am unable to lift heavy things. I keep my mega large bag of dry cat food in a diaper hamper with a flip top, right next to my cat food bowl. I need a scoop, ladel with a good size bowl and a very long handle to ladel out the food. This is perfect for the task and like all Oxo Good Grips products, it is very easy to grasp.

This is awkward. It is sturdy and easy to grip, like all OXO products, but it doesn't fit into a utensil pitcher well. It is hard to get out of drawers because of the size and the shape of the handle. I rarely use it and that surprised me because normally I'm a pretty big fan of this company's products.
