Product Description Peroxides are supposed to be bad for you. Free radicals and all that. But now we hear that hydrogen peroxide is good for us. Hydrogen peroxide will put extra oxygen in your blood. Hydrogen PeroxideI am following the author's suggestion - using baking soda and hydrogen peroxide for brushing teeth, hydrogen peroxide for mouthwash. The results are good so far - clean teeth, pink, less--inflamed gums, and no bad breath. I commend Dr Douglas for his championing of older, simnpler, more natural remedies that work as well as, or better than pricy, chemically dubious stuff that is offfered for public consumption.
This is a Awesome Book! August 23, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a Awesome Book and I was looking for something exactly like it to read. The book is in excellent condition, and it gave me many of the answers that I was looking for in aternative medicines.

Oxygen is a very volatile molecule and i would be very suspicous of ingesting over a period of time. The ability to make something sound miraculous is a gift of rhetoric and not necessarily substantiated. Even if it is effective in the short term for certain ailments, what are the long term consequences? Without well financed medical research, there is no factual data available and anyone can say anything. I don't trust the medical establishment as far as I can throw it, but I respect independent long term research. This is just too sketchy for me to feel good about. How about oxygenating the body through the lowering of stress, lifestyle change and deep breathing?

Hydrogen Peroxide has many healthful uses, such as a component of mouthwash for those who cannot tolerate alcohol. Also is useful to decontaminate wounds.
But the rest is hogwash.

Presents convincing reasons why peroxide could help many diseases. Hard to find Dr that will administer IV hydrogen peroxide therapy.
