Pocket Microscope Magnifier November 11, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
My fifth grade scientists totally love this product for looking at the class collection of rocks and minerals. The pocket microscopes are very portable which makes observation outdoors easy. Science became much more interesting with tools that are fairly low in cost.
Not as cool as it was when I was younger. October 4, 2008 I found this online and was excited to see that it was the same one that I had when I was a child. When I got it, it wasn't near as cool now as it use to be. It works ok but if you looking for a decent microscope spend a little more money.
works good August 20, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
this actually works pretty good. i strapped it to a tripod to hold it steady and am pleased with the results. the light works well. its a very basic microscope, but to look at coins or stamps it works very well and gives good detail.
Excellent seller, questionable item. December 15, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
First one I got lacked a lightbulb. The seller sent me a replacement, but it shorted out on first use. Seller then sent me a third one which WORKS. I'd say this item is made with poor quality control, but if you get one that works, it's great. The seller "Hydrogardens" deserves a star for prompt free multiple replacement!
excellent product December 9, 2006 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I have a different but nearly identical microscope made by the same manufacturer (Great Wall optical). I've had it for a few years and it still works perfectly. It's sturdy, light-weight and super easy to use. I am always amazed by how clear its image is. It also doubles as a good emergency flashlight! This item makes a great gift, that's how I got mine.
