Product Description The Cuisinart automatic 12-cup coffee maker uses the same brewing system found in commercial coffeemakers so you can be assured of getting a truly satisfying cup of coffee. With its 12-cup capacity, you can bet the other 11 cups are going to be equally tasty. Easy to clean Gold Filter with easy swing-out basket Brew Pause Color - Black with brushed stainless-steel accents
Amazon.com Review Strikingly retro in brushed stainless-steel with black-plastic accents, this 12-cup coffeemaker includes Cuisinart's best brewing technology and premium features for ease and flexibility. The digital clock/timer is programmable for automatically brewing "wake-up" coffee at a selected time and for turning off the warming plate up to four hours in advance. Removing the glass carafe from the warming plate automatically pauses the brewing process for a quick pour, and the warming plate's temperature can be adjusted. For maximum flavor, the machine can be set to brew one to four 5-ounce cups or five to twelve cups, and it includes a charcoal water filter. For convenience, a permanent Gold Tone filter eliminates messy paper filters and an indicator-light shows when decalcification is needed. The coffeemaker measures 14-1/4 inches high, 8 inches wide, and 10-3/4 inches deep (including carafe handle) and carries a three-year warranty against defects. --Fred Brack

Looked a long time for a good coffee maker! January 7, 2009 I've gone through a lot of coffee makers looking for one that makes coffee as good as I find in restaurants. This one surprised me with the first cup. If you've been searching for a good coffee maker, you found it. I've had mine for more than a month now and make 2 to 3 pots a day with it. Very good coffee! However, I find the replacement water filters a little hard to find locally, but they are available in many places online.
Very good coffee maker January 6, 2009 After reading recent issue of Consumers Report, I ordered the top rated KitchenAid DCC1200. I got a very good price of $63 including shipping. It works better than any coffee maker I have ever owned. I recommend it.
Great Java Maker January 6, 2009 Prompt delivery. Excellent condition. All as described. Works great. Easy to program and the coffee is brewed perfectly. Have several Cuisinart products and all them are far above average. You may pay a bit more, but you will get a quality product. I strongly, without reservations, recommend this product.
Fantastic coffee maker! January 2, 2009 I previously had a Cuisinart Grind and Brew. For the money it was great, but when the grinder broke, I had to pitch the whole unit. I decided than to "simplify" my coffee maker to one without a grinder, or other parts that can break.
I have been using my Cuisinart for over 2 months and love every cup!!! The coffee is hot when it comes out and stays hot for the two hour's i might keep it on. It is vey easy to use, and the BEST PART is the fact that the "stainless steel" looks stainless, but does not get the finger prints and water marks like my old coffee maker.
I would highly recommend this to any one looking for that new coffee maker.
I love my cuisinart! January 1, 2009 I've had this coffee maker for about 5 or so years and it has never failed me. I think the Cuisinart uses high quality materials and only the hot plate has begun to 'peel' in one spot (the teflon coating) probably due to the way I cleaned it at one point. For the $100 or so, it is a great value. I've seen the newer competing Krups model in person and I find it to be nice, but the materials/look aren't as high of a quality, and I wonder about the long term durability of things like the push button release for the lid. Anyhow, my sister got one and she loves it too!
