 FALSE ADVERTISING! November 26, 2008
Not only did it take two weeks to receive this item but they sent me a replacement filter, not an actual filter!! The picture shows a complete filter and I did not read anything about this item being a "replacement" cartridge. I never write reviews, good or bad, but I don't want anyone else to be duped.

The photo on this item is misleading. What you are actually buying is the cartridge and not the unit that mounts to your shower head.
 Saved me from the pool water chamber that was my shower! October 25, 2008
I moved to an area in Tennessee where the chlorine content of the water has been increased due to continued construction. After two weeks of showering and shaving in the water I had dry and irritated eyes and skin. The smell of the water is very reminiscent of being in a pool! After installing the Enviro Filter I would say the smell has subsided for the most part and the quality of my skin, eyes, and hair have increased by about 75%. Considering the low price and that the replacement filters last a year and are pretty cheap - I would recommend this filter to anyone with a similar chlorine issue.

LUV THIS SHOWER FILTER. I LIVE IN THE HIGH COUNTRY OF COLORADO. HIGH ALTITUDE IS ALSO DRY SKIN AND DRY HAIR COUNTRY. AFTER BUYING THIS FILTER, MY SKIN IS SOFTER AND MOISTER. I USE 30% OF THE LOTIONS I USE TO HAVE TO PUT ON, AND I DO NOT USE A HAIR CONDITION AT ALL! MY HAIR SHINES AND I HAVE FAR LESS SPLIT ENDS. THIS FILTER REALLY ROCKS AND I HAVE RECOMMENDED IT TO EVERYONE I KNOW. HAVE EVEN GIVEN IT AS GIFTS AND BEEN PROFUSELY THANKED FOR IT! NO DOUBT ON THIS ONE, IT IS A REAL WINNER!
Plastic cracks July 21, 2008
Within two years, maybe one, the plastic housing cracked, spraying water onto the wall. Duct tape caused the spray merely to dribble down the shower head, which was an improvement, but now the crack has gotten worse and too much water is being lost. Inferior product.
