Coffeemaker shines like new!! June 25, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Urnex Cafiza took away all the black gunk in my coffeemaker and was easy to use. It doesn't make the coffee taste funny if you follow the directions and run it twice with clear water.
Perfect Cleaner for Backflushing Espresso machines May 15, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Works perfectly with my Expobar espresso machine. I've been using Cafiza for several years and I'm satisfied how it cleans the innards of my machine.
Used this when I worked as a barista! January 30, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This is amazing stuff - it only takes a little powder to get a lot of coffee stains off of equipment. It also doesn't leave a flavor behind. When I first used this I was working as a barista in a bookstore and was amazed at how quickly the powder removed a day's worth of coffee grunge from our espresso machine and coffee pots. The only trouble we ever had with it was when we used too much powder - then the powder didn't fully dissolve and had to be wiped off. But even then it didn't affect the taste of the espresso the next morning. I would say for home use, you probably don't need more than a half teaspoon to clean out a coffee pot. I will probably purchase some once it comes back in stock!
