Product Description The Blackburn Mountain Air Bicycle Mountain Pump has a high-volume barrel that allows it to fill mountain tires quickly. The Mountain Air is constructed with an aluminum barrel that is both lightweight and durable. This bicycle pump features an ergonomic head and handle that increases leverage when in use. The Mountain Air also features a sticky-but-durable rubber grip zone for an excellent feel and sure grip, as well as a large thumb-lock lever that is easy to grab. Blackburn's Mountain Air pump achieves a maximum pressure of 90psi, weighs 148 grams, and comes with a limited lifetime warranty. About Blackburn In 1975, Jim Blackburn set out to design stronger, lighter, more innovative and more reliable cycling products. The first were bags and racks designed for touring. From there, Blackburn grew. Over the next 30 years, Blackburn's spark of innovation would lead to many revolutionary products, like the first high quality aircraft aluminum rack, the first dual stroke minipump, the first oversized mountain minipump and the first dual stage/dual stroke floorpump just to name a few. For 2005, Blackburn's creative spark is burning brighter than ever. And as we head into our 30th year, Blackburn is re-dedicated to designing smart, reliable, no nonsense accessories that are essential to your riding experience.

quick change December 16, 2008 I like the screw on/off mechanism for changing back and forth from schrader to presta. Nice if you have bikes with different valves in the family. The grey plastic chamber makes a nice seal over both of these valves too. It's a good pump to have on the road/trail for emergencies for a good price. Ride on!
Space Saving and Effective October 26, 2008 This pump works great for typical maintenance of your bike. Unless you are pumping up bike tires all day long, who needs a floor pump that takes up space and cost twice as much or more. This little guy is simple to use, feels sturdy in my hands, is easy to stow, and carries a good warranty. I would definitely recommend this pump.
Estupenda September 19, 2008 muy buena opcion de compra, es de aluminio, compacta y con buena presion, se las recomiendo
Great value, nice pump...lifetime warranty! August 25, 2008 At about 10.5" there are smaller frame-mounted pumps out there, but the price is right for the Blackburn Mountain Air.
The pump output is great, and it feels sturdy while pumping. It's relatively easy to switch between Schrader valves and Presta valves by swapping the orientation of the two inner valve components.
This pump mounts to the frame through the water bottle holder screws, and the mount includes a removable Velcro strap. Two spare screws (with hex heads) are also included if you need them.
With a lifetime warranty, you can't go wrong. If you want a smaller frame-mounted pump with less output, try the Blackburn Shorty.
Just what I expected July 24, 2008 Even though I haven't used the pump yet I can tell that it is very lightweight so I can carry it with me all the time. Quality of it also seems to be very good. Bottom line, good relation of quality and price.
